1. About CuratedStore

CuratedStore (operating as The Curated Store) is an online marketplace operated from India that connects independent artisans and curated brands ("Vendors") with customers ("Buyers") for the purchase of handmade and artisan goods. Our website is curatedstore.in and you can contact us at support@curatedstore.in.

CuratedStore acts as a marketplace intermediary. Contracts of sale are formed between Buyers and Vendors. CuratedStore facilitates the transaction, payment processing, and dispute resolution, but Vendors remain the sellers of record for the goods they list.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing curatedstore.in, creating an account, placing an order, or registering as a vendor, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, Refund & Return Policy, Shipping Policy, and Cookie Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, vendors, and anyone who accesses or transacts on curatedstore.in.

3. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to register an account, make a purchase, or apply as a vendor. By using our platform you represent that you meet this requirement.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account. OTP codes must not be shared with any third party.
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information at registration and to keep it updated. CuratedStore may suspend or terminate accounts found to contain false information.
• One person may not maintain more than one active customer account. Duplicate accounts may be merged or removed without notice.

4. Products & pricing

• All product listings, descriptions, images, and prices are provided by the respective Vendors. CuratedStore reviews listings for quality but does not independently verify every specification.
• Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable GST unless otherwise stated. Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout before payment.
• CuratedStore and Vendors reserve the right to change product prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you place the order and complete payment.
• Product images are representative. Handmade and artisan items may have natural variations in colour, texture, or dimensions — these are characteristics of handcrafted goods, not defects.
• Availability is subject to stock. If a product you have ordered becomes unavailable after your payment, we will notify you and process a full refund.

5. Orders & payment

• An order is confirmed only after successful payment authorisation. You will receive an order confirmation email containing your order ID and summary.
• All payments are processed securely by Razorpay Software Private Limited, an RBI-authorised payment aggregator. CuratedStore does not store your card details, CVV, or UPI credentials. Accepted methods include credit cards, debit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets.
• CuratedStore reserves the right to cancel orders where payment cannot be confirmed, where fraud is suspected, or where the ordered item is no longer available. You will be notified and fully refunded in such cases.
• GST invoices are issued electronically and made available in your account dashboard after order confirmation.
• For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, payment is collected at the time of delivery. COD may not be available for all products or pincodes.

7. Returns & refunds

Our return window is 7 days from the date of delivery. Refunds are credited to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of the returned item being inspected and accepted.

8. Shipping & delivery

Orders are processed within 24–48 business hours and delivered across India within 3–7 business days depending on the destination and the vendor's location. 9. Vendor obligations

Vendors registered on CuratedStore agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete product descriptions, images, and pricing. Misleading listings will be removed and the vendor account may be suspended.
• Comply with all applicable Indian laws including the Consumer Protection Act 2019, Legal Metrology Act, GST Act, and any sector-specific regulations relevant to their products.
• Maintain adequate stock for listed products and update inventory promptly. Repeated cancellations due to stock issues may result in account suspension.
• Pack and dispatch orders within the committed timeframe and provide valid tracking information. Poor fulfilment metrics may result in account review.
• Not list counterfeit, prohibited, or hazardous products. CuratedStore reserves the right to remove any listing at its sole discretion.

10. Prohibited conduct

You may not use CuratedStore to:

• Engage in fraudulent transactions, place fictitious orders, or manipulate product reviews.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, other user accounts, or vendor data.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically harvest data from the platform without our prior written consent.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation.
• Use the platform in any way that violates applicable Indian law or regulation.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension, cancellation of pending orders without refund (where fraud is confirmed), and referral to appropriate legal authorities.

11. Intellectual property

All content on curatedstore.in that is not user-generated — including the CuratedStore name, logo, website design, copy, and software — is the intellectual property of The Curated Store and is protected under applicable Indian copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.

Vendors retain ownership of the product images and descriptions they upload but grant CuratedStore a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and reproduce that content on the platform for the purpose of marketing and selling their products.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CuratedStore's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

CuratedStore shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages including loss of profit, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if CuratedStore has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

CuratedStore does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the platform and is not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control (see Force Majeure below).

13. Force majeure

CuratedStore shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of government, strikes, civil unrest, internet or telecommunications failures, third-party service outages, or epidemics. In such events we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable and work to resume normal operations promptly.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms, including disputes relating to orders, refunds, or the use of the platform, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Before initiating legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at support@curatedstore.in so we can resolve your concern directly. Most issues are resolved within 5–7 business days.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Material changes will be notified via a prominent notice on the site and, where applicable, by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Continued use of CuratedStore after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
